Events & Activities 2005 Steamboat Springs Summer & Fall Events
There's never a dull moment in Steamboat Springs in the Summertime and beyond
While Ski Town USA has long been known for World Class skiing facilities, Steamboat Springs, Colorado was originally a summer resort. Travelers in the early 1900s visited Steamboat Springs in the summer months for the natural hot springs and vast hunting and fishing opportunities. Today summer activities span the spectrum, with three championship golf courses, an indoor-outdoor tennis center, biking, hiking, kayaking, fly fishing, and horseback riding right in town.
Summer also brings a non-stop schedule of events from outdoor concerts to rodeo, bike races to car shows, even the air is filled with hot air balloons at our popular Hot Air Balloon Rodeo. Be sure to check our Calendar of Events before you arrive, or schedule your Steamboat Springs Getaway around one of our Signature Events, or another exciting event listed below.
